NBA fantasy trade analyzer for category leagues
A free NBA fantasy trade analyzer for category leagues. Put the players you would give and the players you would get side by side, and see what the trade does to every category, and to overall value, before you accept it.
Add players to each side. The analyzer totals both sides in every category and shows the difference, so you can see which categories you gain and which you give up. Shooting percentages are worked out from total makes and attempts, so a high-volume shooter counts for more than a player who barely shoots.
Value adds up each side's overall fantasy value - the same number the rankings use. Change the season and window to judge the trade on recent form or on the whole season.
The scoreboard lists Value and every category with what you give, what you get and the change, and marks each one a win, a loss or even. A positive change means the trade gains you that category. Turnovers are the exception: fewer is better, so a drop there is the win. Switch from Stats to Values to compare what each category is worth rather than the stat itself; the line under the board counts the categories won and lost. A trade can lose on overall value and still be right for your team if it wins the categories you need.
Sign in and connect an ESPN, Sleeper or Fantrax league, and the player search can list your own team, another manager's team or the free agents, so a real offer takes a few taps to build. In a category league the analyzer counts only the categories your league scores.
Before the season, judge a trade on the preseason projection. During the season, switch to the last two weeks or the last month to see who is playing well now, or to the full season to look past a slump. Compare per game, or per season so the games a player missed count against him.
Yes. Add as many players to each side as the trade has.
The nine standard categories, plus field goals and free throws made and attempted.
Yes. It needs no account and no payment. An account is only needed to connect your own league.
Each player gets a value in every category from how far his production sits above or below the players at his position. Value is the average of those category values, the same number the rankings show.
No. The analyzer compares only the players you list. The side that gets one player also gets an open roster spot, so add the player you would pick up to that side to see the full picture.
It is built for category leagues, rotisserie and head-to-head. In a points league the stat totals still help, but Value does not use your league's point settings.
Any of them. The analyzer works on its own for an ESPN, Yahoo, Sleeper or Fantrax league, or any other. Connecting a league is optional.
