Fantasy basketball waiver wire: trending players
See which NBA players fantasy managers are adding and dropping on ESPN and Yahoo, and which ones play better than their roster % says. Every player appears once, tagged with each reason he is worth a look.
Rising and Falling are the players whose % rostered moved a point or more over the window, ESPN's and Yahoo's change averaged. Above roster % is a player we rank at least 25 places better than his roster % puts him. Low roster % is a player in our top 60 with 20 or more minutes a game who is under 30% rostered on both platforms: the waiver wire in most leagues. Momentum is a player whose rank climbed 40 or more places from the preseason projection to his latest games while his % rostered rises.
Each signal keeps its 15 strongest players. The list puts the strongest case for a pickup first: a player who is rising and under-rostered comes before one who is only rising, and players who are only falling come last. Top pickups right now are the first five players in the list with a reason to add them, or with a league connected the first five free agents, one card at a time: the arrows, or a swipe on a phone, move between them.
% rostered is ESPN's and Yahoo's own, read every hour and kept day by day, so the change is today's reading against the day the window starts. Rank is ours, as in Rankings: on the season so far, the last two weeks or the preseason projection, scored on your league's categories when one is active.
With a league connected, each player is tagged with the fantasy team that has him, and the chips above the list narrow it to your team, the free agents or another manager's roster.
Pick 7 days and the Rising signal: the list shows the players whose % rostered rose most on ESPN and Yahoo over the week, with each platform's change beside his name.
The Low roster % signal lists the players in our top 60 who are under 30% rostered on both ESPN and Yahoo. With a league connected, choose Free agents to see only the ones still available in it.
ESPN and Yahoo leagues are run by different managers, so a player can be picked up on one platform days before the other. Each platform's change is shown as it is, and the signals average the two.
% rostered is read from ESPN and Yahoo every hour. Our ranks update with each night's box scores.
